Beschreibung
What is "Catholic education" or "Catholic social political education"? For all its great tradition, today, the term sounds foreign. Might one not even suspect a contradiction between the Catholic and political education? All the more so in times when the Church is anything but easy with democratisation claims within its own structures? What about values and freedom, education, religion and democracy? Politicians, scientists, thinkers, journalists and artists try to give an answer beyond the stereotypes. Essayistic, light, melancholic, reflective or sharp-tongued.
