Larkin appears to have had a close affinity with the distinguished German philosopher, Arthur Schopenhauer, the propounder of great systems of thought. Both Larkin and Schopenhauer seems to have been disillusioned by the frugal rewards of life and endeavoured to explore its subtleties.

Previously a teacher, Puja Chakraborty has authored a number of research papers, articles and academic works published in national and international journals worldwide; and also freelanced for the same.She has tried her hand in creative writing and is a published poet.
